Forensic science today is increasingly multidisciplinary, involving pathologists, chemists, toxicologists, biologists, entomologists, anthropologists, dentists, document examiners, ballistics expert, engineers........

A good example of the multidisciplinary nature of forensic science can be found in the recent novel "Death du Jour" by Kathy Reichs, who as well as being a mystery writer has a "day job" as one of North America's leading forensic anthropologists. Her heroine, forensic anthropologist Tempe Brennan, has consulted a forensic entomologist, Lou West, concerning some bodies that have been found. Follow this link to read on...
