The Chemical Detective Forensic Science WebsiteDuring June 1999, the School of Biological & Chemical Sciences, Deakin University, ran a series of hands on laboratory based forensic science workshops for Year 10 students in Geelong and the surrounding area under the name "The Chemical Detective". Due to the great success in its pilot year, The Chemical Detective (The Forensic Detective from 2005) has returned to the Geelong campus at Waurn Ponds every year since then with new set of exciting experiments that use forensics to introduce students to fundamental scientific principles.
